Camp re:power
Reflect. Reset. Recommit. We’re here for long term liberation.
re:power is your home away from your organizing home. Our camp is a nurturing and resilient space to recharge your power alongside 200 peers in the movement. Gather strength in your community through embodied processing and reignite your purpose in stimulating unconference environments. Join our long-arc approach of power building and boldly recommit to your role as we all create a liberated multi-racial democracy. Are you ready for the Spring?

What is it? 60% Convening. 40% Training.
Camp re:power is a four-day in-person space designed specifically for BIPOC leaders to deepen and strengthen the power of the movement. At Camp re:power “Campers” will come together to reflect, reset, and recommit to the work ahead:

Reflect
on the previous election cycle and cultivate transformative learnings to enrich your path forward. You will have guided somatic experiences to process 2024 to nurture emotional and intellectual regulation.

Reset
your strategies and deepen your organizing and leadership skills. Our workshops provide hands-on learning opportunities from nationally renowned trainers in our five program areas: Grassroots Organizing, Movement Technology, Electoral Justice, Women of Color Leadership, and Progressive Governance.

Recommit
to your purpose and get clarity on your vision. You and your fellow “campers” will leave with a direction forward and momentum, both as individuals and as a collective.
Why now?
As we navigate the rising threat of authoritarianism, the mission of re:power is more important than ever. Our North Star is the emergence of a multiracial democracy through the practices of liberatory organizing—rooted in community, collective action, and abundance. BIPOC organizing is crucial for this future and we will get there with the support of our year-round capacity building programs and our biennial Camp.
Who is it for?
Camp re:power is best suited for BIPOC organizers, campaigners, strategists, technologists, and elected officials with 3+ years of organizing experience, especially women of color and trans and gender expansive people of color.

Commitment from re:power as your movement training home
“I think of organizing as a long journey of coming home. My ancestors left their home country and had to rush into the arms of their oppressors due to the destruction caused by imperialism and colonialism. I see this work as an extension of their strength and their fight.”
Scarlett M., Camp re:power 2023 alum
