As a charitable corporation, exempt from income tax, we are required to file Form 990 annually with the federal government. The 990 provides information on a nonprofit organization’s finances, mission, and programs, and the financial statements included in the 990 are presented in accordance with IRS regulations.

We also use an independent accounting firm to audit our organization annually. Our Board of Directors must review and approve the annual audits. re:power and re:power Fund are committed to maintaining the most effective financial control practices available to ensure that any type of financial impropriety is prevented or quickly identified and appropriately addressed.
