• Provides strategic leadership, executive project management, and develops new regional, multi-state, multi-organizational strategic and complex initiatives
• Operationalization of re:power’s strategic plan and exploring opportunities for re:power by building relationships with individuals and institutions across our ecosystem

An organizer or movement that inspires me:

As a product of youth organizing, I continue to be inspired by young people organizing on college campuses, especially around Black liberation and ending the Palestinian genocide.

At the office:

• Lead re:power’s finances, operations, and human resources striving to create and maintain an equitable work environment for all staff 
• Committed to improving internal structures and promoting organizational health that are in line with our values and mission 

An organizer or movement that inspires me:

I’m inspired by the fight for equal access and resources, specifically as it relates to reproductive rights and education reform.

At the office:

• Lead re:power’s Program Team in developing and executing a bold vision for our training programs
• Build deep partnerships with individuals, organizations and coalitions across the progressive movement

An organizer or movement that inspires me:

The labor movement inspires me because of its long, rich history and hard-won lessons that continue resonating to this day. Seeing the power of workers—especially young people of color–topple giants like Amazon and Starbucks fills me with so much hope.

At the office:

• Leads a national team of strategists, organizers, and technologists towards re:power’s bold mission of building a critical mass of social justice organizations & their leaders who embody the ideology and practice of liberatory organizing.
• Manages the organization’s people, systems, and processes towards the goal of building the power we need to make material changes for our people.

I love:

• Traveling, hiking, photography, and a good meal with family and friends
• Being mom to my amazing daughter

An organizer or movement that inspires me:

The Black Lives Matter movement is the civil rights fight of our generation. Through the power of protest, it forced a nation to confront its long, ugly history of racial inequality and inspired activists around the worldwide.

At the office:

• Lead re:power’s Strategy & Engagement team that is driving Communications, Fundraising, and Strategic Initiatives for the organization.
• Focused on building strong relationships with alumni, partners, donors, funders, and values-aligned supporters.

An organizer or movement that inspires me:

The March For Our Lives movement reminds me that organizing is not a thing of the past and young people are understanding their power in meaningful ways!
