Verdict View
This project creates community-driven judicial report cards that grade Los Angeles County judges on their patterns of harm, including pretrial incarceration, bail setting, and courtroom conduct. The report cards aim to build public pressure, inform voter action, and support organizing efforts to dismantle the power judges hold over marginalized communities.
Fellow Bios

Bryanna Siguenza (she/her) is a community organizer and data strategist committed to building community power through judicial accountability. She leads the Rate My Judge and Court Watch LA programs at La Defensa, where she works to expose judicial misconduct and increase transparency in both criminal and immigration courts. With a background in urban planning and a passion for abolitionist organizing, Bryanna bridges grassroots campaigns with data tools to hold courts accountable to the people they impact.

Khadidah Stone is a Montgomery, Alabama native and the Director of Network Capacity at Alabama Forward, a statewide civic engagement network dedicated to advancing racial equity and progressive policy. A Troy University alumna with degrees in Spanish and American Sign Language, she began her advocacy journey at age 14 by leading efforts to secure her father’s release from a 60-year sentence, culminating in his parole in 2016. Khadidah has since held impactful roles with organizations including the Alabama House of Representatives, Feminist Majority Foundation, and United for a Fair Economy. Notably, she served as a plaintiff in Allen v. Milligan, a landmark Supreme Court case that challenged Alabama’s congressional redistricting under the Voting Rights Act. Outside her advocacy work, Khadidah enjoys reading, gardening, hosting her podcast, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
