This project aims to use data analysis and predictive modeling to draw insights about stakeholder—particularly donor and volunteer—behavior as it applies to social justice and movement-oriented nonprofit organizations, with a specific focus on how supporters respond in moments of urgency, crisis, or stress. We seek to identify the key factors that drive sustained giving and engagement, and to use patterns of engagement to predict whether stakeholders will continue to show up. The goal of this project is to provide an overall analysis framework that can be adapted by a variety of organizations to help drive insights and fundraising campaigns.
