ProgSmART
ProgSmART is a platform uniting progressive art and smart technology. It was inspired by Jakalia Brown’s six years of experience in data and dedication to community-centered creativity. ProgSmART bridges the gap between artists, nonprofits, and funders by providing tools to track engagement, measure impact, and support issue-based projects with clear, data-driven metrics.
Fellow Bios
Jakalia Brown (she/her) is an Atlanta-based artist, photographer, and senior data manager with roots in Maryland and Georgia. She is dedicated to preserving art and data through visual storytelling. Her work spans from documenting prominent Atlanta artists such as Miya Bailey and Honey Pierre to providing reporting and analytics support to over 50 Georgia-based organizations. With over six years in civic data strategy and equity, Jakalia bridges technology and art, using data as both a tool and a narrative form.
