Hannah Hughes (she/her) is a very proud product of San Antonio, Texas. Upon moving to Austin to pursue a Sociology degree at The University of Texas, she got her first taste of organizing. She became a student organizer who started mobilizing folks to testify against voter suppression bills during that legislative session. Then dove into the work of registering people to vote around the central Texas region.
In 2022 she stepped into the world of data. Currently she is the Data Coordinator at Workers Defense, a member-led organization that is building power with Latine workers in Texas for immigrant and worker justice.
Hannah wants curiosity to lead all of her work. Her goal is to make data and tech as accessible as possible to all in the movement.
When not working she loves to hang out with friends, watch anime and read as many books as possible.
